My 8 year old son had to get stitches in his knee. Dr. Hakan Bilbaşar was really the best!!! Super friendly and helpful and very easy with kids (wish I took a picture together). Speaks fluent English. The clinic itself is very modern and clean. As my health insurance covered everything, I can't say anything about the price.

I went there with my daughter and paid in Euro and they give me 50€ note back FAKE money so be aware of them . I also sent them an email and they never reply back . Be careful and don’t pay any money to them they are thief’s

We had one of the most unfriendly experience with this hospital. We were there because my husband had a stomachache and came to emergency. The whole process of checking blood and urine took ages and without finding any reason they were insisting to stay overnight and prolong the whole process. When we said that normal blood and urine analysis is not taking such long they were very rude with us and said: just stop your treatment and go (Russian speaking translator Leylas attention to us was disgusting). You can see that they mostly interested in profit and they dont care about health of the people. We paid our money and signed paper and left the hospital. Was very scary. Analysis were showing that my husband has an infection but they let us go without prescribing any antibiothics. Next day we had to go to public hospital and show results to another doctor and he gave us prescription. It is super pity that this happens especially when you are sick in another country...

I came for info regarding a simple health check. I went to the desk. The translator guided me to the room where I could get info. I waited 45 minutes nothing happened nobody came I just went out again. If this is a privat hospital they have to check the procedures.! Not happy at all.

The staff from the reception is very nice and helpful. I felt welcome and well treated, they explained all the important things to me. It was also extremely clean and good organized. Thank you very much, I recommend you!

Akdeniz Hospital is the top professional medical hospital. The life of my wife was saved in this hospital and this is enough to understand the level of experience and commitment of the staff utilizing the most advanced medical equipment. From the first minute when the ambulance brought in the patient the medical team was working like a swiss clock. Dr. Handan Turker and Dr. Elvire Mafandaka (anestesiology/reanimatology) processed the unconscious patient and prepared her for the operation without any delay and that was crucial in saving her life. Then it was taken over by the team of Dr. Ali Cetin (neurosurgeon) who performed a unique and extremely complicated neurosurgery. Now after sometime I can only say that Dr.Ali is a magician of neurosurgery. The way how successfully he did the surgery and followed up later with all the necessary actions and communicated with the family providing all the information and moral support shows that this doctor has got not only all the necessary knowledge and experience but also a big heart. Following the surgery the patient remained in the ICU for more than 3 months and once again managed to survive thanks to the professionalism of all the staff in ICU including the nurses, cleaners, etc and of course the doctors working 24/7. The excellent team included Dr.Handan Turkey, Dr.Elvire Mafandala, Dr.Asli Duru, Dr.Mustafa Azgan, Dr.Mohammed, as well as various specialists consulted in the course of medical treatment, such as infectionist Dr. Hulya Arik, cardiologyst, pulmanologyst, dermatologyst, orthopedist and few others including the excellent and very modern radiology department headed by Yusuf Aydin. For nearly one more month the patient stayed at the ward which is also top of the medical facility. The 24/7 nurse services were provided by the most professional and caring nurses including Hawa, Aylin and Sedha. Special thanks to their work and care, they made a major contribution to stabilizing the situation. And of course the the doctors Handan Turkey and Ali Nihat Gok who developed and carried out a detailed medical plan for the period after the ICU. Special thanks to Handan. She is one of the most experienced doctors and also having a big heart, ready to visit the patient on her day-off and provide not only medical but also psychological, general support, encourage the patient and the family which is as important. Great personality and Doctor! The foreigners may feel uncomfortable in a hospital where not many staff can speak languages. But at the Akdeniz hospital it is not a problem as you can always rely on the most efficient support provided by the Department of International insurance headed by Emel Ozturk, supported by most efficient and caring Sukran Donmez, as well as Meryem Peker, and with fantastic services by the team of translators (English, German, Russian), including Sukran, Harun Sahin, Yuksel Erdogan, Dian, Magda, Leyla, Guldane Sari and few others. In particular I want to emphasize the role of Sukran who is ready to go beyond her immediate responsibilities and in most difficult moments provided great support in establishing communication between the unconscious patient and the family and later provided information on a daily basis. She is an extraordinary person, with a caring heart! Finally, I want to thank the Administration of the Hospital - Deputy Chief Dr.Ilkay Ercagin. Yes, at some point we had few discussions on the way how better to organize the process and it was good to understand that the Administration did listen and took into account the relative suggestions from the family and that helped to facilitate the recovery of the patient and prepare her for a discharge and evacuation from the hospital. The most important role was also played by the Chief of the Hospital Dr. Yusuf Aydin. He himself was coming to check the patient and give valuable advise to the medical staff including nurses and the family. This action demonstrates the commitment and involvement of all staff ready to provide their knowledge and support to the patients. Great Team!

English travelling around Turkey and needed an ultrasound. Absolutely wonderful. Not only very professional but also very fast and friendly. A full interpreter was provided and a consult and full abdominal scan cost £300. Done in 1.5 hours and feeling much h better for knowing

On vacation in Turkey we were hospitalized with a 3-year-old daughter. Remembering those 2 days with a fever, my hands tremble again and the wave of stress returns. I am very grateful to the doctor who shared his experience and convinced us to stay in the hospital. The catheter was placed on my 3-year-old baby very quickly and for the first time. Dropper treatment significantly reduced recovery time. The fever passed almost immediately and the night was calm.
