Toy; any object typically used by children when playing games. Many toys are imitations of a real being; however, toys can also be simple objects with various meanings. For example, a child can turn a cane he rides on into a horse in his imagination and a stone in his hand into a car. There are also very complex toys consisting of electronic and mechanical parts.
The history of game and toy is as old as humanity. Like animals, the first humans probably used many objects from nature as toys. However, it is accepted that the first objects produced solely for game purposes were balls, kites and yoyo.
