Su kemeri Side'ye su taşınması amacı ile Dumanlı ile Side arasında inşa edilmiştir. Bu su kemerleri bölge bölge 6 kısımda halen ayaktadır. Bu su kemeri dizisinin en önemli ayağı Oymapınar Barajı yakınlarında yer almaktadır. Baraj yakınlarında yer alan su kemerinin 40 gözü halen ayaktadır.
Oymapınar Side Aqueduct;
It is located within the borders of Manavgat district of Antalya province. Aqueduct, M.S. 2.-M.S. It was built by the Romans in the 3rd centuries. The aqueduct was built between Dumanlı and Side in order to transport water to Side. These aqueducts are still standing in 6 parts of the region. Manavgat ilçe merkezine yaklaşık 15 kilometre uzaklıkta, Oymapınar Barajı yakınlarında bulunan Oymapınar Su Kemeri’ne ulaşımlar özel araçla sağlanmaktadır.
Side Antik Kenti’ne, Manavgat Nehri’nden su aktarmak amacıyla inşa edilmiş olan yapı, günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Ortalama uzunluğu 35 kilometre olan yapıda birçok açık ve kapalı olmak üzere kanal, tünel ve su kemerleri bulunmaktadır. İnşa tarihi M.S. 2 - 3. yüzyıla tarihlenen su kemerine ait 40 kemer, günümüze en az hasarla ulaşabilmiş yapılar arasındadır.
