Antalya ili Manavgat ilçesi sınırları içinde yer almaktadır. Su kemeri, M.S. 2.-M.S. 3. yüzyıllarda Romalılar tarafından inşa edilmiştir. Su kemeri Side'ye su taşınması amacı ile Dumanlı ile Side arasında inşa edilmiştir. Bu su kemerleri bölge bölge 6 kısımda halen ayaktadır. Bu su kemeri dizisinin en önemli ayağı Oymapınar Barajı yakınlarında yer almaktadır. Baraj yakınlarında yer alan su kemerinin 40 gözü halen ayaktadır.
Oymapınar Side Aqueduct;
It is located within the borders of Manavgat district of Antalya province. Aqueduct, M.S. 2.-M.S. It was built by the Romans in the 3rd centuries. The aqueduct was built between Dumanlı and Side in order to transport water to Side. These aqueducts are still standing in 6 parts of the region. The most important leg of this aqueduct series is located near Oymapınar Dam. 40 eyes of the aqueduct near the dam are still standing.

These are very old Open channels and water bridges which were built to carry water from the Oymapınar village to the ancient city of Side, from the Manavgat River for nearby villages. As per the guide, it was built in Roman Age
For tourist, if you are coming from main Antalya city to Green Canyon on you own convince, then you can have a short stay to visit this historical engineering work.
