It is a mosque in the neighborhood where I have lived since 1978, where I learned the first time and the QURAN-I KERIM.

It is the only mosque in the neighborhood. It has a large and wide area. Its garden is large and quite green.

Ornekevler Mosque: It was built on a triangular plot in the Ornekevler district, where Çiğdem Sokak, Nilüfer Street and Mimoza Street intersect... Right next to Kocatepe Primary School... Neighboring the school.... Mosque: Built in 1972, Single Main domed, single minaret, single balcony... There are also three small diameter domes at the entrance/at the narthex... Later additions were made/made! ...A beautiful, adequately sized Mosque... Two floors high, Airy, peaceful... a mosque for around 1000 people.... Calligraphy, Nakkaş and tile work are very beautiful... admirable... Mosque The outer walls and minaret were built of cut stone... The masonry building... It carries the breeze of Ottoman architecture... We have been in this retirement neighborhood for 20 years ... A calm, green, clean neighborhood... All streets are named after Çiçek. Like Gelincik Street, Karanfil Street, Mimoza Street... One of the new neighborhoods of Afyonkarahisar... In the 1960s, these were "fields"...then they were established as one or two storey Garden houses!...then all of them one by one. demolished... turned into 5-storey apartments, the population increased 15 times!... The half-century-old neighborhood of Afyonkarahisar... who came ,who passed...Many of the first settlers died...The profile/faces of those who came to the Mosque have completely changed!... May Allah be pleased with those who contributed and contributed to the construction of the Mosque, and those who helped bring it to these days!.. May their place be in Heaven!... May Allah have mercy on all those who passed away!.. May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Forgiveness be upon all Muslims!... Let friends remember us!... ...
