Very beautiful ancient jewels

Hands down the best shop in Göreme! We looked all around town for jewelry and found the best pieces here with the fairest prices (all set); antiques and reproductions with all kinds of stones both local and foreign. Really delightful stuff! Fevzi helped us with a kind and patient heart. His English is exceptional (he teaches it!), and we became fast friends over life stories and complimentary homemade wine. We left with some treasures that would receive many complements during our journeys in Turkey. We later returned and met the owner Mehmet, who is a wise and charming collector. He showed off some of his carpets, antiques and reproductions, and was extremely knowledgeable about their history and the deeper cultural meaning behind the patterns. Had we been in the market for carpets, we would definitely have purchased them here. This is a place filled with trust, knowledge, and rich comraderie. We look forward to returning!
