Abim yeğenime sünnet düğününü de burada yapmış ve mekan güzel olduğu için de çok güzel bir organizasyon olmuştu. Kaynaşlıya yolu düşen turistler için gidilip görülmesi gereken cami ve mekan.

Karaçalı Mahallesi sınırları içerisinde yer alan ve 1323 yılında Orhan Gazi döneminde Osmanlı topraklarına katılan Düzce ve çevresinin, Kaynaşlı’nın Sarıçökek Köyü’nden bu çevreye yerleşen manav Türkleri tarafından sık ağaçlarla kaplı olan bölgede çivi kullanılmadan yaptıkları ve “çandı tipi” dedikleri 700 yılllık Orhan Gazi Cuma Camii, ağaç kütüklerin birbirine kertilmesiyle inşa edilmiştir.
Bolu Müze Müdürlüğü’nün 1997 yılındaki çalışmaları neticesinde Orhan Gazi dönemine ait olduğu tespit edilen camii, restore edilerek 2013 yılında dualarla tekrar ibadete açılmıştır.
Orhan Gazi Friday Mosque
The 700-year-old Orhan Gazi, which is located within the borders of Karaçalı District and joined the Ottoman lands in 1323 during the Orhan Gazi period, made without using nails in the region covered with dense trees by the greengrocer Turks, who settled in this area from Sarıçökek Village of Kaynaşlı, without using nails. Cuma Mosque was built by notching wooden logs together.
The mosque, which was determined to belong to the Orhan Gazi period as a result of the studies of the Bolu Museum Directorate in 1997, was restored and opened to worship again in 2013 with prayers.
