Orange Restaurant & Plaj

We had the best fish from all over the Turkey here! Staff and overall atmosphere were very nice!

The food was below average. I ordered a shish and got decent meat, wooden bread and soggy fries. The portions were pitiful. The service was not good either. Dirty table with smudges of mayo that no one bothered to clean up. When I asked for a beer and orange juice, the waiter scoffed at my choice and sarcastically asked why I’m ordering these two drinks. Ehm, why does it matter to you what I’m ordering? All in all that wasn’t a pleasant experience and I would avoid this place in the future.

Terrible restaurant. Charged us $200 for a piece of fish, Yusuf was also extremely rude. Im deeply disappointed.

The food is nice but... The fact that someone is from Western Europe isn't an invitation to overcharge guests. Came here for my birthday with my boyfriend and the bill came at over 800 lire (without alcohol) because the waiter assorted a huge sea food platter that we couldn't even finish eating because the portion was way too big for 2 people and he made sure to put as much food as possible so that he could charge us more... Hadn't it been for this trickery, would've definitely come back here again. This is a surefire way to lose regulars.

They cheat people on daily catch fish price (too overpriced): they advise you a daily catch fish, they don’t tell you the price for kilo (they don’t have it in menu) and you have a huge bill in the end. We had a bill of about $250 for a Grida fish of 5 kilo ($50 for kilo) and we had to negotiate it for half an hour. The manager started to smoke right inside the restaurant and talked to us in a most rude way, saying explicit words. He even came with a cigarette to a slipping kid of one of our friends. I recorded a video just in case for a safety reasons. Finally we decided to call the police, but place owner agreed to set the normal price (at the 1.1 price of Dorado fish), we paid and finally left this place. Manager said “you are not welcome here, don’t come to our restaurant anymore” :) well, we won’t ??

A very attentive service - and food is distinguishably better than the rest here. I loved pita and two little mezes they bring with it; börek (the one with salamy - very delicate), avocado salad was basic but nice Octopus however was target disappointing: tiny portion of rather overcooked protein:/

Somehow we ended up eating here for all 3 days we were in the village, food was mostly tasty. Double shrimps pasta was very tasty, as well as octopus. Turkish coffee was one time good, but the other not the best, not sure why. Fresh mix juice nice to refresh on the beach. Time for preparing dishes was a bit long and if we were depend on time it would be problem.
