BAFRA FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Who are we? Bafra Faculty of Business Administration was opened in 2018 and started to provide education in 2019-2020 with the Department of Insurance and Actuarial Sciences, one of its kind in the Black Sea Region. The Faculty also has a newly established Department of Management Information Systems. 7+1 Workplace Training will be applied in both departments. Apart from being an extraordinary faculty compatible with the international standards, our Faculty aims to establish multidisciplinary study groups and educate specialists that the actual industry needs. Within this scope, our Faculty provides both the core curriculum and an extensive list of elective courses that conform to the international standards and economies.
The faculty building houses the following facilities: a cinema-conference hall, seven classrooms, a library, a computer laboratory, a reading room, a presentation and meeting room, a canteen-cafeteria, a brainstorming room, and student representatives and student clubs’ halls.

As a new faculty, we are open to development and activities both in terms of education and social life. Our students can participate in all activities of the University and student clubs. They can also participate in the training programs in all insurance and actuarial companies in both in Turkey and EU member countries (Germany, Sweden, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Latvia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Denmark, Hungary, Estonia, Malta, Finland, Poland, France, Portugal, Southern Cyprus, Romania, Croatia, Slovakia, Netherlands, Slovenia, Ireland, Greece, Spain) and program countries (Iceland, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia and Liechtenstein). As part of our University’s internationalization target, our Faculty also provides opportunities for exchange within the framework of Erasmus+, Farabi and Mevlana programmes. Our graduates can work in insurance companies and the field of actuarial work thanks to the multifaceted education they receive at our Faculty.
