★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty dishes with fresh vegetables will come back again. We had the bean salad and grilled chicken. The people are very friendly and helpful and the cats are cute. I would recommend it to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book an overnight bus out of Goreme and stranded after check-out from your hotel? Then look no further than Omurca Art Cave, where the wifi and vibes are strong, food and wine portions generous, and the prices reasonable (especially compared to main strip).
Owner is super chill, we didn't talk a ton, but he didn't judge me for sitting in the corner all day being a power/wifi leech. Nice comfy benches, interesting decorations, and solid views of the area. Cats kept their distance but I felt like there was mutual respect all around here.
A haven for the temporarily homeless. Check it out and give the owner a fat tip for being such a generous soul.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Special unique place hidden away from the crowds but very close to the town's main street. Delicious family home made food that you won't find anywhere else. Will come back next time I visit! P.S. Try their home made wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omurca is a quaint little watering hole that’s easy to dismiss. But don’t do that. The family that greeted me was warm and welcoming. I chose a nook outdoors to take in the crisp winter air. I was almost immediately surrounded by kitties. If you know me, you’d know cats are weakness (on par with coffee). They lit a bonfire to keep us outdoors and the kitties warm.
I ordered the grilled chicken with veggies and a glass of homemade wine. The whole meal felt homemade and it was very generous in portions. However, please carry Turkish Lira to pay.
P.s. recommended for shy/anxious solo travelers since this one particular kitty keeps you company for food.

We ordered the grilled meatballs, the chicken sautee and vanilla ice-cream, all incredibly delicious.
The owner has rescued many stray cats, and they are a joy to watch, jumping around the room. They actually come to you and let you pet them, which is not the case in most cat cafes I've been to around the world (though sometimes they just want the food you're eating ?).
The owner was very nice, coming to our table several times to check on us and answer any questions.
The restaurant decor and music have quite a nice eclectic vibe. The only thing that bothered me a bit was people smoking inside, but it wasn't too bad when I was there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cute cafe at Goreme. It's got such a bohemian vibe to it. The food is freshly made and you can even see the actions at the kitchen. It feels like dining at your friend's home.
During our stay at Goreme, we visited this cafe twice and I got one of the best chicken kebabs I’ve had. Delicious and juices meat!

We loved the atmosphere, decoration, the whole vibe. It’s local, cozy and at the same time simple. Wine and food were great. All of them all made. The people were welcoming and kind.
The cats made the place even cutter.
