Ommer Hotel

The hotel is situated little bit far from the city centre, which is good for accommodation in calm surrounding. Huge SPA with hamam, sauna + indoor swimming pool (open till 10 PM). Rooms are not provided with bathrobes (available on the request). Coffee lovers might be disappointed by not finding a coffee machine at breakfasts. But waiters serve great filter coffee from thermos.

The hotel itself is nice and new. The breakfast is rich and fresh. As others have mentioned, the staff are great here and the rooms are HOT. In winter they use central heating so you cannot adjust the temperature. The AC doesnt work in winter so you have to open your window. Being on a major road and in the flight path of the airport makes it a bit loud so bring ear plugs. Two problems: we booked our room directly at the hotel; when we called to confirm they could not find our reservation at all. Fortunately the lady on the phone was able to help us quickly and efficiently. The pool/spa area is not able to charge any service to your room so you must bring a credit card with you. The pool requires a swim cap (which costs 10tl at the spa) which would have been good to know before we arrived.

Room service staffs was terrible. But good temperature for winter. Also I didn't like the breakfast, full of cheese and jam. Smoking room too cold.Hospitality 1 from 5.

Positions itself as a five star hotel but in fact it isn’t. Great rooms but the infrastructure is lacking: small spa-center with tiny steam rooms, small gym with a dark swimming pool, the restaurant is fine but with a limited selection, the reception is all right but with a limited English knowledge. Over all it’s fine. But not five stars.
