Don’t be surprised, this place is both ancient city ruins and passage for the beach who stay at the tree houses in Yazir village. Olympus is the one of the most important cities in the Lycian confederation, which inspired the US Constitution and EU.

An ideal place to get away from civilization and have a rest among beautiful nature. You can live either in a tent, a treehouse or a bungalow. To access beach you have to go through ancient ruins, which means pay for entrance, but the price is not high. I would say that this village is more for those who likes staying in the mountains, for beach vacation I would recommend Çiralı.

Good historical area ? - But not so many ruins left. - There are still archeological works around. - There is parking for 10 liras. - Entrance is 40 liras. - Restrooms are only where the main entrance. - Take your swimsuit with you, there is a nice beach ?

Beach was wonderful in September. We came here each summer months but this year September weather and water was awesome.

Fantastic. Reminiscent of an Indiana Jones movie with all the jungle shrouded ruins. There's a theatre, bath complex, loads of tombs, temple facades and more. And apart from the strangely lush vegetation covering much of the site, you follow a river through it to a beautiful beach. Perfect.

Amazing historical place. We walked the trail from Çirali, it's not signposted but it's easy to locate with the locals help. Beware thou that you do have to climb up/down a precarious looking ladder but it's safe enough. There's amazing trails around the historical site. We didn't pay to enter although we did enter from the beach. I would say to see everything (even the areas a little off the beaten track) would take over 3/4 hours. Probably a good idea to take a picnic.

Ancient city looks like any other ancient city in this region (pardon historians), but it’s nice to check it out on your way to the beach. I highly recommend to also explore the beach and go to the other end of the beach along the coast. There’s a magical place between the coast and island/tinny hill. We watched our sunset there! Remarkable place <3
