I spent a week at this amazing place and wanted to stay forever. The design, the team, the food, the location... everything is perfect here. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into small details, and it feels like home from the moment you step in. Here you share an absolutely stunning nature and view with a few other guests in a very secluded place. Waking up to the smell of the most wonderful breakfast and enjoying it with a mountain view on one side and the Mediterrenean on the other was enough for me to call this my best vacation :) The talented owners of OML will take you on a gastronomical journey every night, this is fine dining at its best - without any pretentious crowds or noise, just a carefully picked playlist of great tunes and breathtaking views in the background. OML is the ultimate destination for food and nature lovers. A million thanks to Basak, Su and Mehmet Ali for curating the vacation spot of my dreams!

We booked 3 nights for a Covid-safe, silent, nature holiday but unfortunately got sick during our stay, had to extend our booking due to sickness & flied back after a very dramatic holiday. It took me 1 month to recover from this sickness. The hotel doesn’t fulfil any legal regulations for hospitality sector, like covid measures, silence hours & nonsmoking public space. There are no Covid measures in the hotel, no masks in the kitchen / during service. We even warned, they said “we are vaccinated and it is worse at other locations”! We don’t know if other guests from İstanbul, Ankara did a test or vaccination - no one asked us anything. If we knew this, we wouldn’t have flown to Turkey. They have confirmation on Google, Tripadvisor etc that they follow Covid measures: they should correct this not to mislead people. No À La Carte service in hotel, although confirmed in booking.com. Only a secret “tasting menu” for the evenings, 5 small plates of what they cook on that day. The owner decides for the menu, you learn what you will eat when it arrives to your table. It costs 45 Eur per person without drinks, and the food is a poor copy of the European cuisine- not Turkish/Aegean. For example our menu on second evening was, salmorejo, a dry gnocchi with Croatian cheese, salmon tartar on a cracker, a piece of lamb meat with vanilla aroma and pudding, for a 90 Eur dinner (without drinks). It didn’t taste proper and we didn’t find it sustainable, either. During the day, if you are hungry, they offer to prepare sandwiches. Again, no menu, nor price list, you can see prices they will wish, during your checkout. There is ongoing music at the garden bar in front of the rooms. We ignored it during the day, but on Saturday evening they were partying until 3 a.m. together with the other guests. We couldn't sleep. There is one common terrace in front of 6 rooms & aluminum room doors with a hard spring, opening to this space. Every time our neighbor was out for smoking, bang bang bang... This loud sound makes you jump out of your sleep. Yes, it is permitted to smoke in the hotel, guests use this terrace in front of the rooms for smoking, you can smell it lying in your bed. The guests were permitted to smoke in the dining area, too. They sent us to a village restaurant for the 3rd evening after which we got completely sick, had bloody diarrhea long time. I had zinc, mineral tablets, probiotics etc with me to stabilize, but it wasn't possible to get much further from the bathroom, therefore we had to book a 4th night here. We were planning to spend the rest of the week on the coast, we couldn’t. We looked for flights to return back earlier, couldn't find. After fourth night here, we drived away to a silent hotel to rest, until our return flight. Our holiday was ruined. Upon our return, it took us a few weeks to recover and feel alive again, but thank god we could fly back without going to hospital in Turkey during covid madness. Price performance ratio is very poor. For ~260 Eur per night (half pension stay) you receive a very high quality in Europe. One night stay here is almost one month salary of minimum wage earner in Turkey (which 60% of the working people TR can hardly earn), but for what? The Turkish guests may pay 45 Eur per person (without drinks) for tasting the European cuisine, but in Europe, that's the price we pay for recognized chefs / Michelin restaurants, in a proper fine dining atmosphere, with white table clothes, elegant environment, guidance on food and wine etc. (+ disinfection against covid). In this hotel, an espresso costs 4 Eur but it is Rioba Coffee Capsules from Metro! Thanks a lot to Murat, who helped us during our stay and sickness. PS: They say that they have private boat, but it is not true. They buy it from a provider in Karaöz to sell for an expensive price.

OML provided us with the most pleasing lodging experience right next to Mt. Olympos and overlooking the Mediterranean. Climbing the curvy village road, one definitely does not expect to arrive at such a splendid wooden/stone lodge with exquisite and tasteful rustic details and mind-blowing mountain and sea views. It's hard to choose between relaxing by the pool (and the poolside bar with tasty cocktails by Murat), on your private balcony with sea views, the spacious common deck, or in front of the fireplace -- I guess it will be best to come back in different seasons to duly experience all the spaces and phases of this lovely place. As for the main attraction, the culinary experience, I humbly take my hat off to Başak, Su and Mehmet Ali for the most tasteful dishes they served, their attention to details and mindful approach to local and seasonal ingredients. The breakfast was already rocking my world, dinner times just left me speechless. I absolutely loved this little hotel run by such a caring little team. They skillfully compliment the calm, nature-laden space with their impressive culinary skills and easygoing friendly attitude. Definitely recommended!

Oh man, this place is just heavenly. If you come to stay here, your eyes will enjoy breath-taking views of the Mediterranean, Tahtali mountain, rolling pine forests and the quaint Beycik village. Your feet will enjoy soft grassy lawns, stone paths and delightfully ever-so-slightly creaky wooden floorboards. Your ears will enjoy the soft trickle of water, the faint bleating of goats over the mountain breeze, and a perfectly curated playlist of classic tunes (at just the right volume). Your tongue & tummy won't know what hit them as they enjoy exquisite meals prepared with meticulous attention to detail by the gifted chefs that run this magnificent getaway. Your heart will enjoy the warm family-like environment they have manifested here - a little slice of paradise, both deeply integrated into the world around it, but also apart from it in a way that lets you access deep states of relaxation & joy. You're going to love it here.

We stumbled into this little place while hiking the Lycian Way and we couldn't believe how beautiful and perfect it is. The team is super friendly and we felt welcome from the very first day on. The place lookes like price winning for a design award and we could have spend days just watching all the artistic details. The bed was comfortable and we had the most beautiful terrace, where we felt like spending days there just sitting there and watching the view into the valley. The cocktails were special and very well made. What amazed us most was the kitchen with the "tasting menu". We like haute cuisine and what we tasted there was one of the best menus we had so far. Most of the ingredients are collected from the environment and the team focuses on including the rest of the ingredients from the local farmers. The combination of the flavours was amazing and the team was very attentive in order to enable the perfect dinner experience for us. Unfortunately we were only able to spend one night but we would love to come back to this perfect little hideaway in the middle of the Turkish mountains. Thanks to the whole team for the stay!

Warning: The room was too comfortable, the breakfast too plentiful, the dinner way too tasty and the martinis too dirty. Consequently, we have gained about 5 kilos each in three days… love you guys!

Perfect for a weekend getaway. Gorgeous place and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. Very clean, spacious rooms (beds are super comfy) with a fantastic old time charm, full of great art. Just a charming place. Owners are also chefs, so, unbelieveable top notch food, especially the dinners; better than all fine dining restaurants of the country. Top notch service, great attitude. Definitely coming back soon.
