Our tour guide brought us here and we weren’t disappointed. Food was excellent, everything was fresh, and service was quick. Highly recommend!

Nice food for good money. Also liked the service - people were nice and helpful. Stuff speaks English, Russian, Turkish. A lot of free side dishes and tea.There are some vegetarian dishes - 2 kinds of casserole, soup, salads.

Great place for Turkish food. We ordered Lamacun, Urfa Kebab and Lamb chops. All were great and well prepared. The side dishes were also really good. Staff members were welcoming and courteous. Overall, a good experience.

Lahmacun is good. And it comes with lots of delicious meze. Friendly staff.

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The kebabs are very delicious and the fresh juices are very delicious. The milk and cream Kunafa was very tasty. The interiors are well decorated and the service is excellent.

Loved the food and loved the excellent hospitality services here.. the meat is well cooked n tender and tastes fantastic. The prices are absolutely reasonable too.

When you travel to Turkey, make sure you eat at the local restaurants that offer authentic Turkish food rather than the international food chains! Ocakbasi Urfa Sofrasi, est. 1991, Cappadocia, is well known for serving Ocakbasi or Grilled, Lahmacun or Pizza & Kunefe or Kunafa, a sweet dish of Middle Eastern origin. Our tour included the lunch & we were served • Baslangic or Starter (A variety of fresh salads & condiments) • Kiremitte Mantar or Stoneware Baked Mushrooms. (Seasoned & sauted mushrooms topped with cheese, baked in a claypot in a stone tandoor)??? This is an absolute must try ???? I'm drooling even while describing it ?? • Tavuk Sis or Grilled Chicken Shish Kebab (Succulent pieces of chicken grilled to perfection, served with a side of Bulgur, pickled onions & charred green chillies) Charred green chillies are hubby's new found love after eating in Turkey ?? • Tatlihar or Desserts included Sutlaç or Turkish Rice Pudding, which was totally gobbled by #mylilmissy Kunefe or Kunafa (This was by far the best Kunafa we'd ever tasted, perfectly balance of sweet & savoury ??????) Wow! What a feast! Salads are really fresh. Excellent taste on every dish. Nice seatings. Service is great. Overall is great. Absolutely recommended! ?
