We were told in the classroom that the awards shared on social media accounts will only be given to students who will enroll in the classroom. Later, when I asked why the award was not given in the phone call I made with a gentleman, who is the director of the classroom, "This is a well-known announcement, the system is like this, if registration is not made, no award can be received." was in the direction. As an educator, I stated that the situation is unethical. I especially said that a 16-year-old child should not be deceived by word games like this. The gentleman on the other side asked me if I needed this award. And he said that the situation and award conditions were explained in the application made to the Ministry of National Education. I also said that the situation must be written in writing, but such a statement is not written on social media accounts and it should be written. In short, the award to be given does not matter, but every wrong done to the students, that is, to the guarantees of the future, is a wrong done to the future. It doesn't matter how the system works. What matters is whether the promise is kept. I would expect an educational institution to act transparently without chasing small accounts or making word games. It doesn't matter how big or small the prize is; I wish the prize was a notebook and a pen and could be given. Candidates who are going to take the exam and who say that they will receive a scholarship and an award in anticipation, please pay attention.
