Nereid Gurme Kaş

One of the better places I have been to in Turkey. The had locally caught fish instead of just the farmed sea bass and sea bream. There was a Turkish band playing and the view was great.

I really like this location. Firstly all the service people are very kind. They explain you all the dishes with the details and help you to decide what you want to eat. There are various delicate things that you can order from turkish or greek kitchens. Atmosphere is lovely, almost complete location is open air. On weekend there is also live music. If you want to experience the "meyhane/tavern" culture, you can definitely visit this location.

Nereid is by far one of the best fish&meze restaurants in Kas. We go there every year at least once and it never fails to impress. Lavinya and levrek simit are our favorites but all other mezes are also worth trying. You can try original recipes created by the chef that you cannot find in any other fish restaurant. It is a great place if you would like to get a taste of traditional turkish fish & raki concept with an original touch. You can either enjoy live music or if you prefer a more quite setting, you can enjoy a nice dinner conversation with friends at one of the tables on first floor. The staff is very friendly and nice. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Kas.

They cannot handle crowd even you have reservation you have to get another line to pick up food. We had to wait 45 min more to order the food. And if you go after 8 pm (we had reservation for 8.30) they may say we ran out of some food. Yes we faced that. We had to order just what they had. Shame. Don’t bother try Gaia!

Great place, awesome food, great service. Definitely recommended

We weren't expecting much considering the restaurants had just opened, but the quality of service was disappointing. We ordered a portion of calamari and although it was a bit expensive it was so tasty that we decided to repeat. The second portion was completely different, with frozen calamari of very low quality. We ordered Grit Ezme and it was anything but Grit Ezme. It was made of green bell pepper and yogurt and a little bit of cheese. The quality of the meze (even the most basic ones) is very low. The treatment of the customers is also quite bad. The table next to us (friends of the owner) were offered tea all the time while we were not offered tea even when we paid the bill (quite inflated). It is understandable that the situation of restaurants is delicate nowadays, but it is terrible to see how the service was only looking for our money, with a lousy service and product quality.

Very average meze , chicken for main was very salty. Service was long and meze came without bread had to wait for it.
