Herkez pek memnun kalır. Camiden çıkınca Hoca'nın eşeğini getirirler. Köylülerin hepsi ona hizmet etmek için adeta yarışırlar. Hoca eşeğine binerken biraz düşünür. Sonra eşeğin üstüne ters oturur. Herkes hayret eder. Köylülerden biri dayanamayıp sorar : _Hocam der. Kusura bakma ama eşeğe niçin ters bindiğini sorabilirmiyim? Hoca tebesüm ederek cevap verir : _Eğer düz binip önünüze geçseydim siz arkada kalacaktınız. Siz öne geçseydiniz, bu defa ben arkada kalmış olacaktım.
