★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An artificial swamp with unusual layers of mountain color. From the middle of the mou tain, it is all green, but not with moss or any plants. It is virtually green. Also I had to gaze up the sky to see the endless lines of migrating bird's flying formation. They were keep coming one after another. It was spectacular!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is like another planet. Color of the soil and the formation of the clouds paint an amazing painting. Excellent spot for the landscape photographers. If you are a bird whatcher or like to photograph birds then look no further. This is your spot. Accomodation can be arranged in Beypazari. Or if you stay in Ankara then you can reach this place by an hour drive and come back in the evening. But you loose the sun rise and sun set. A must see place!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is about an hour away from Ankara by car. Well worth your journey. If you match the season, you will see a real bird paradise. If not, the birds still greet you in droves. The mountains opposite offer a riot of colors, especially on days after rain. It lacked the attention it deserved, maybe it's better this way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another hidden gem that does not get the attention it deserves. This is a bird sanctuary that is next to lake and river. The views are breathtaking and there are over 200 species that habitats this area. Of course we did not see all of them. The good thing is that this place does not get promoted, so it is not full of litter and people, so we were able to truly enjoy the nature. A definite must see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice park with many different species of birds. Generally it does not attract many visitors. Entrance is free. There are a couple of nice observation decks. Could be a nice spot to cover. However, I think the main beauty of the area are the Colorful Hills of Nallihan and the hidden Clay Valley both are visible from the Bird Sanctuary and are easily accessible. Despite the hunt ban, locals hunt birds excessively.
