The building of Nakipoğlu Mosque was built in 1762 by the son of the great Ottoman merchant Nakibzade Ahmet, the great scholar and veteran, Seyyid İbrahim Efendi, who was a mufti of Konya for 23 years. Before the mosque was built, a foundation was established and many mites were added to the foundation. It was built by Nakibzade İbrahim Efendi and his family, many of the past professors and foundation trustees. It is made of stone, covered with a roof, in front of it there is a four-arched final congregation place made of Gödene Stone. Above the door, an inscription is written on the stone in the form of a semicircle with a beautiful calligrapher Avni. According to this Inscription, it is understood that the Temple built in 1756 was renewed in 1926. The tile altar of the temple is old. The part of the minaret with a single balcony on the right up to the cube was made of stone, and the upper side was made of brick. There is an inscription in Persian on the cube of the minaret. Brick stalactites and ornaments made of blue tiles can be seen under its honor. The minaret belongs to the first mosque built. There are six windows on the right and left sides of the mosque in two rows and two windows on the side of the qibla at the bottom and three at the top. The madrasa on the left of the temple was demolished and its place was turned into a park. The traces and stones of the cemeteries surrounding the qibla and the right side of the mosque still remain. To the right of the mosque, there are only three tombs left. One of them was Konya Mufti Nakip İbrahim Efendi, the builder of the mosque, and died in 1763. İbrahim Efendi has a waqf of seven pages in Arabic, which was issued a year before his death, on page 402 of the book numbered 3 in Konya Directorate of Foundations.

It was a mosque that I went to a lot in my youth, now we can't go because our neighborhood is far away, I visit it once in a while, well-kept and clean

On the back street is the old house opposite the fountain, of the same name. There is another house on the other side of the mosque. Other old houses in the vicinity are on Cizreli Street (next to the school) and Ovaloğlu Street (old mansion in empty land, being restored). Some parts of the fountain can be Roman building material?
