★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another stop on the lycian trail, another incredibly well preserved site of lycian and roman ruins. They are still restoring the place so probably in 5-10y this will be a near complete amphitheater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ancient Myra, Lycian in Turkey. Paul changed ships here on his way from Caesarea to Rome. Many of the rock cut tombs date from 300 BC. Some tombs have carvings of warriors and animals. The theatre is massive and impressive, with huge vaulted tunnels and corridors. Above the ruins is a medieval castle, where an acropolis once stood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entrance fees :50lira.
If you had seen Perge Ancient City, this one will be a disappointment (in my opinion). Only theater and Tombs to see. Whereas Perge Ancient City (whole city) their entrance fees only 60lira.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place we found amazing, the rock tombs along with the theater were incredible. This is place you definitely need to visit if you are anywhere near it. Lots of tombs to see and many blocks sitting on the ground with carving on them. A must see.
