Which High School Should We Send Our Children? Career choice = Life style High School Transition Exam (LGS) results have been announced and our sons who have completed secondary school these days they want to go to high school will decide by choosing. With the new system, which was introduced last year, they will be placed in high schools. Since every parent is in the heart of his son to go to university, he normally targets high schools he thinks will prepare the best for the university. What will be the exceptions of students who are allowed to settle in Science High Schools, Social Sciences High Schools, Special Education Programs and Secondary Education Institutions that implement projects by the Ministry of National Education, which are qualified schools and accept students according to LGS score? According to the local placement system will be placed in one of his preferred schools and will spend 4 years of high school life in this school, supposedly to prepare him for university. Since he could not find a job with the diploma of the faculty of education he completed, we have acquaintances who go to vocational high school and find a job with associate degree diploma. 4 years of high school + (1-2 years of graduation) +4 years of the university spent 8-10 years of our young people, what is the result of this educational life. Frustration! So, what is our solution proposal: We send our students who are very ambitious academically to the schools which we think will prepare the best for the university. Students who are not very ambitious academically go to vocational high schools. In institutionalized schools, it becomes both a PROFESSIONAL OWNER in the education of qualified teachers; is preparing for both the university and KPSS. At the age of 18, he grows up as qualified, professional people who are conscious, know life, look to the future with confidence. As it is possible to find a job in the government or private sector, it is easier for him to earn the university by getting EK POINTS in the profession he studied.
