★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there for coffee at 9:15am. I looked inside, there was no one but it was open. A woman cleaning the tables outside comes towards me. I ask her if it is open - in Turkish, I speak Turkish, this whole thing happened in Turkish - she says yes.
Nice, I had been walking for a while with my dog and wanted to sit down.
I ask for a cappuccino. She says they don’t serve coffee… She says I can have a beer instead. A beer. At 9am. In a coffee shop?!
Anyways, I say no thanks. She calls the owner of the mini market few meters away, who talks to me like I am lower IQ or sth, screaming Hallo!!!! Yes!!!! Ja!!!! Bitte!!! To me while I am not even German and I spoke a very good Turkish to him, saying I just want to drink coffee:
- Hallo!!! Yes!!!
- Merhaba, bir cappuccino içmek istiyorum.
- hallo!!! Yes!!!
(Asks in Turkish to a colleague if he knew how to make cappuccino, the guys says no, then he sends the girl in the shop, the girls comes out)
- Hallo!!!! bitte!!!!
That is when I realize the mini market owner basically told the woman to go in the shop and grab some Nescafé powder coffee and serve me that.
They didn’t tell me anything, I was lucky enough to see the 3u1 arada in her hands while she was walking back to the coffee place. Told them I wanted actual coffee. Bunu içemicem.
My guess is that the people actually working at Mira were not there yet and I interacted with the table service.
I wouldn’t have been mad if people just interacted with me like a normal human being instead of screaming “yes! Hello! Bitte!” to me, completely ignoring me talking Turkish to them.
I wouldn’t have been mad either if someone just said “hey, maalesef mümkün değil ama istersen markette 3ü1 arada satılıyor”.
Too bad. It looked promising. Worse morning ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best cheesecake and coffee at mediterranian for sure! Fresh, hand made and daily! Ask for other cakes if you want to taste big surprises. This is not an ad. I ride 140km for this taste once a month.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 30 lira for a cup of coffee? I paid 23 for an entire lunch meal thirty minutes earlier. I think they stuck it me as a tourist. Get prices before you order here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to sit, relax, and and enjoy the view of the marina. They have good selection of coffees along with sandwiches and pizza. And of course if you are in Antalya fresh squeezed orange juice is a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With this location, such fair prices are a nice surprise. If you want to linger over tea, make it a double -- still just 8 lira! Omelettes, pastas & chicken dishes are affordable too. Kids play in the fountain below & boat tours are steps away, in case you end up waiting for one.
