Kind of a Turkish version of Costco, most items are sold in bulk and multi-packs. Excellent butcher counter.

This is the most professional shop in Fethiye that you can find everything cheaper with better quality. The employees are polite and helpful. There's a parking. It's good for restaurants and hotels to buy from here. There is elevator for 3 floors. There's a restroom too.

Clean, organized and relatively cheap compared to others. If you can buy in bulk!

I am very much familiar with this type of big bulk shopping experience from the many years I lived in the states. We used to go with the whole family shopping at COSTCO, kids in the shopping cart, stopping every few feet to taste some samples of cheese, salami, or some fresh coffee on sale that day. But these days, there are only the two of us and the kids have left home and we do not need all these bags of flour and salt to outlast us. However, I was impressed with Metro's meat and the fish departments. The entrecote beef turned out to be very juicy and tender and the fish variety was better that what I had seen at Fethiye fish market. With the rocketing fish prices, I was told by the vendor at the fish market in Fethiye; I did not bring salmon; he said. Yet, there was salmon at METRO. Not bad. I will go again. However, the liquor department needs to beef up. The shelves look pretty empty and the wine selection is pathetically narrow. COSTCO is the biggest vendor of liquor in the states. METRO should look up to them and adopt them as their role model.

You can buy some unusual items here not stocked elsewhere. Of particular interest to me are the frozen fruits which are good value for money. Ground coriander is the first I've seen in Turkey. Almond flour also sold here. Good meat and fish counters. Pleasant helpful staff. Some items are relatively more expensive than elsewhere but generally prices are reasonable. Toilets available to shoppers.
