The point where the museum is located is 120 kilometers from Ankara and 90 kilometers from Eskişehir. People traveling between the two cities do not pass by the museum. And Sivrihisar is the birthplace of Nasreddin Hodja, who is integrated with the city and is the pride of the district. The great philosopher of Turkish folk humor Nasreddin Hodja was born in 1208 in the Hortu Village of Sivrihisar. The name of the neighborhood was changed to Nasreddin Hodja in 1999. Hodja's house still exists here. The two-storey house can be visited by obtaining the key from the municipality. Hortu Village is 26 kilometers from Sivrihisar.
