This is one of the most historical mosques in Mersin. The mosque building and garden walls are built of cut stone. It is a mosque where you can see the typical features of Turkish Architecture. Its being in the center of the bazaar makes it accessible.

Sultan Abdulmecit'in annesi Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan adına 1870 yılında yaptırılmıştır. Dikdörtgen planlı, ahşap beşik çatılı, tek minareli cami 1901 yılında onarım görmüştür. 2008 yılında da Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından yeniden restore edilmiştir.
