Perhaps the oldest of the historical mosques of Düzce, it serves worship with its new face, and it gives a different awe and peace to pray when the congregation is always crowded.

In my opinion, it is the most magnificent Mosque in Düzce after Cedidiye. It's a peaceful place. It was destroyed after the earthquake, it was rebuilt, but it still continues to preserve its historical appearance. My only criticism about the mosque is its imam. This imam does not suit this mosque at all. Unfortunately, the mistakes he made in recitation are not acceptable. If I come to the muezzin, the worse the imam is, the more magnificent the muezzin is, the more magnificent. God bless him. What a beautiful voice, what a beautiful recitation. I hope God does not deviate from this path. Another problem is also valid for the Cedidiye mosque, it is both great nonsense and rudeness to build cafes and kiosks around the mosque. While the Qur'an is being recited or the imam is preaching inside, people are drinking tea and coffee outside, crossing their legs and chatting. Thank God, with a little thought, stone and card games are not played. It is not the opinion of the venue owners or the municipality, but the opinion of the community. What a pity.
