So good, went back the next evening for the full menu. Everything delicious again. Meat for main courses so tender. Very friendly and helpful staff, manager speaks English. Thoroughly recommend if you're visiting Van. Cheap parking available on street nearby.

One of the best restaurants in Turkey! The food was amazing and the service was perfect. We were greeted by the owner and the chef and welcomed like we were family. The food was a delicious cross-section of kurdish food. Try the signature fig dessert!

I just loved this place. The food resemble all cultures that has been in this area, the flavours exchange across the silk road and the cultural syncretism among the ingredients. Service is good, the people who work there take care of the customers and the ambience is pleasant.

We ordered "Kestaneli Içli pilavlı Kuzu tandır" and "Norduz" kebab. They brought us a whole table of stuff. I haven't paid yet, but whatever the cost might be, I'm leaving as a very satisfied costumer. Just a reminder: Don't get there later than 8:30. All the good stuff will be finished.

The service is excellent. Emrah speaks fluent English and helped me navigate the menu. It felt like home away from home. The food, service, and ambiance are all memorable. Highly recommended!

After 6 months of travelling all over Turkey, I can confidently say that this was one of the best meals we had. As recommended we ordered the tasting menu for 2 that includes almost the whole menu with most of the must-try delicacies of Van. The most delicious was their version of Ali Nazik, which I can say is better than the Antep one. You also get complementary Ayran soup and salad which are both delightful. There is even a lady baking fresh bread in a tandoori over right in the restaurant. After reading the good reviews we also had the fig dessert that was a big surprise - warm, salty, toffee, caramel goodness with an amazing Turkish ice-cream for a pleasant cold-warm contrast. A combination of flavours that I didn’t think was possible for Turkey. A meal that I will be thinking about for a while.

Yummy! ? One of best traditional meal menu restaurant. I highly recommend you to taste some delicious food in here. Well, I wish I could see some more traditional details on the tables, on the walls. And how could be beautiful if I see waiters/waitresses in the traditional suits. Thanks Mencel team ??
