I came to Belek, Turkey to meet my girlfriend after being separated due to COVID for so long. During this trip I decided to hunt for some good engagement rings as I have only heard good things about Turkish jewelry. I looked through some stores before I found Memory Jewels, where I met with Murat. I explained to him my situation, and he showed me some great rings in my budget (I am a student, so I couldn't spend as much as I truly wanted). Murat treated me with respect and showed me a few different options until I found this perfect ring for my girl. We haggled just a bit on the ring as he had already given me a good price, and I did not want to disrespect him. I cannot thank him enough for helping me make this night possible in these truly trying times. He re-sized the ring for me, and even polished my silver necklace (he offered to polish all our jewelry, however I am more of a bead and leather type of guy, and my girl didn't bring anything fancy on this trip). Without any biased from my engagement, Murat was truly professional. His store was clean and properly layed out, he spoke clear English and can even speak German, and the most important to me was he treated me with respect. Because of my age, some of the store owners in the area did not try very hard to sit with me and talk about potential rings, but Murat took me seriously and understood that loyalty is more important than cash on hand. If you are in Belek and you are looking for jewelry, I highly recommend this store. Make sure to barter for your own sake as with everything you buy in Turkey, however keep it respectful. I will definitely keep in touch with him for future jewelry, even with the distance. Highly recommended.
