It is located in the courtyard of the mosque known as Cami Kebir. There is a library of manuscripts right next to it. It was not open.

Kayseri Ulu Cami’nin güneyinde bulunan bu türbenin bulunduğu yerde Melikgazi Medresesi bulunuyordu. Melik Mehmet Gazi’nin Türbesi de cami duvarına bitişik olarak medrese hücrelerinden birisi içerisinde yapılmıştır. Bu türbe, Danişmendlilerin üçüncü hükümdarı ve Ulu Cami’yi yaptıran Melik Mehmed Gazi’ye aittir.
Türbenin kitabesi bulunmamaktadır. Melik Gazi’nin H. 1143 (1730) yılında öldüğü dikkate alınırsa, bu türbenin de aynı tarihte yapıldığı sanılmaktadır. Bugün türbenin önü ve medrese park olarak düzenlenmiştir.
Melik Mehmet Gazi Tomb
Melikgazi Madrasah was located in the place of this tomb located in the south of Kayseri Ulu Mosque. The Tomb of Melik Mehmet Gazi was built in one of the madrasah cells adjacent to the mosque wall. This mausoleum belongs to Melik Mehmed Gazi, the third ruler of the Danishmend and the Ulu Mosque.
The tomb has no inscription. Considering that Melik Gazi died in 1143 (1730), it is believed that this tomb was built on the same date. Today it is arranged as the front of the tomb and the madrasah park.

Das Grab von Melik Mehmet Gazi wurde neben der Moscheenmauer in einer der Madrasazellen errichtet. Dieses Grab gehört Melik Mehmed Gazi, dem dritten Herrscher der Danischmenden, der die Ulu-Moschee errichtete.
Diese Besichtigung war Bestandteil des Tagesprogramms vom 18.08.2020, den wir im "Reisebericht Rundreise Kayseri" ausführlich mit Fotos beschrieben haben.
Melikgazi Madrasa was on the spot where this tomb is to the south of the Kayseri Ulu Mosque. Melik Mehmet Gazi's grave was erected next to the mosque wall in one of the madrasa cells. This tomb belongs to Melik Mehmed Gazi, the third ruler of the Danischmenden who built the Ulu Mosque.
