★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bodrum is well known for its bars and clubs, but you will find that most of them are too crowded, too loud or too "mainstream". If these don't suit to your liking; give this cosy place a try. There is excellent live music if you can hit the hour, and then all there is left to do is have a good time with beer in your hand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mavi is one of the must-visit-bars in Bodrum. You can check their live music program and decide for the day of visit. It is located at a very central location near the sea. Although it is quite small bar the simple and modest ambiance gives a very comfortable feeling. I'd suggest you to try this place out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best bar to hang out for the 30 plus crowd. Very small and intimate space. As a tourist you will here songs you know and some great Turkish music you can sway to. When the crowd joins in to sing a local favourite, you will know why Mavi is a tradition since 1983 - I came looking for this bar after 17 years!
A great location and my first 5 star Google rating. If you don't have a good time - "forget about it".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best music place in Bodrum I’ve experienced! It has some history to it, which I really love about places. It has great design, drinks and music. Their concept is around jazz, rock, folk and famous Turkish songs blended and I think it’s beautiful :) It has the friendliest staff and it’s location just next to the sea is perfect too!
