Allah c.c Tevbe suresinde şöyle buyurmaktadır.
"Allah'ın mescitlerini, ancak Allah'a ve ahiret gününe inanan, namazı gereği üzere kılan, zekâtı veren ve Allah'tan başka kimseden korkmayanlar imâr eder. İşte bunların doğru yolda olup başarıya ulaşacakları umulur."
Ayrıca cami yaptırmak sadaka-i cariyedir ki hadisi şerifte Peygamber Efendimiz s.a.v. şöyle buyurmaktadır:
"İnsan öldüğü zaman amel işlemesi kesilir. Ancak üç şey bundan müstesnadır. Sadaka-i cariye, kendisinden yararlanılan ilim veya kendisine hayır dua eden salih çocuk.
Ayrıca
"Kim iyi bir çığır açarsa, bununla amel edenlerin ecri kadar ecri bu çığırı açan alır. Kötü bir çığır açan da, bununla amel edenlerin günahı kadar günahı yüklenir."

The mosque should give peace to people with its interior and exterior. I do not find it right that the bottom or its surroundings are filled with trading houses for the sake of money.
