The view from walls is beautiful.
But the castle itself is quite small, expositions are enclosed in small rooms. It was too hot but conditioners were turned off (the temperature was about +39°C). So, visiting of the castle wasn't so comfortable as I used to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place definitely worth visiting. The entrance to it goes through a small aley in the old town next to the bazaar. You go up the street and you will find the entrance. Make sure to explore all the tiny rooms since each has it's own collection of artifacts such as figures, jewelry, statues, money...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For around £1.50 a person, Marmaris Castle offers amazing views, interesting relics from lots of different time periods and offers English translation to all of the information. Me and my partner really enjoyed it.
The only downside I could find is that it only takes about 15 minutes to see everything it has to offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely well restored and maintained little castle in great location right on the town seafront with nice views all around. There are many very interesting artefacts in the museum rooms. Highly recommend and well worth a visit at approx £2.50 entrance fee
