I had several problems with two gensets on board they fixed the troubles in descent time. They offer relatively little bit more expensive comparing to another company and deserved every penny. Worth to have them on board as experts.

Marlin compromised themselves by lying to support their trade suppliers . We were clearly supplied a 4000 euro Maxprop that would not work for our boat no matter what pitch we tried . Marlin ignored clear evidence on the sea trial and said an engine cooling problem was the issues. They knew it was not and would not speak to us after the trial. . Volvo diagnostics and dismantling of the system proved their lie . Brian Trejern at Tec Marine Was the real culprit but Marlin lied to protect him . Avoid Rec marine like the plague is our advice . We love Turkey but now our boat is in Hreece for the winter .

We were sailing near Marmaris when our boat had technical issues (!) that needed attention. Highly concerning. While ashore, we were impressed with Erden's quick attention to our issues and his proposal of parts and service. He turned around would have been an uncertain situation and a delayed trip. Highly recommended. And Marmaris in general is wonderful and we are glad to have stopped there

At the recommandation of Phonix company we decided to use Marlin company (in Marmaris/Turkey) to rebuild our Volvo engine. The work was done extremely professionally, with great care, and on time. The work included not only the rebuild of our engine, we also had Marlin attend to our generator, our Eberspacher heater as well as the cleaning of our fuel tank. Should we ever be in need of technical/mechanical help whilst in Turkey, we are sure to make use of Marlin again.

I’m a professional Yacht Captain, and since 10 years I use Marlin services with different boats, motor and sailing, from 20m LOA. I found Marlin team very skilled in mechanic, motor (big or small) repair, drive systems (shaft, props etc.), cleaning tanks & diesel, etc. They are in contact with the best artisans in Marmaris, so you can have any work done having only one contact person, at very reasonable and fix price… no tricks. On top, they do their best to solve your problems, especially in season: they saved my cruises few time! Absolutely recommendable.

In additional to providing periodic maintenance, they have also done a Yanmar diesel overhaul, transmission rebuild, and Side Power thruster replacement.
