Mardin Olgunlaşma Enstitüsü

That magnificent door impresses you as it does everywhere in Mardin.

Mardin Maturation Institute building, It was built on 11 May 1892 Mekteb-i Rüştiye (high school) on Muzafferiye Madrasa with the approval of the Ministry of Foundations. The building, which consists of blocks A and B, is the first building used in Mardin for educational purposes since the Ottoman period. It was originally built as an administrative school. It was used as a secondary school building in 1923 and later as Mardin High School and Commercial High School. In 1982, it was transferred to Girls' Vocational High School. According to the address on the door of the high school, 1018 Greeks were repaired in 1902 by Diyarbakır Governor Celal BEG. In 2012, both buildings were repaired by the Mardin Governorship with a historical transformation project. Seljuk art and motifs were used in the decoration of the building.

The architecture is really beautiful. Its famous gate is a nice place to take photos.

Melik Mahmut Karaaslan was built by Melik Mahmut Karaaslan Artuklu at the end of the 13th century and found in foundation records in the 16th century, and a Junior High School was built in 1898 on the land of Muzafferiye Madrasah, which is not standing today. The Rüştiye building was later used as a high school, then a girls 'teachers' school and finally a commercial high school. The building is located behind a monumental door that has become one of the symbols of Mardin with its magnificent stonework.

After climbing the stairs on the street, you reach a very magnificent monumental door. Afterwards, there is Gazipaşa Primary School on your right and the maturation institute building in front of you. Both buildings are very impressive. I wish our schools were like this, it makes you want to study there.

Domestic and foreign visitors to Mardin must visit the square in front of the Mardin Museum and take pictures. The house was right in front of me, so I could see it through the window.
