★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really'd like to give 5 stars for such a wonderful place. But the castle is closed for military purposes and enter is prohibited...like lots of great places at Eastern Turkey. Shame :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to walk all the way up but it's actually some military area. So there is not really a castle or a lookout where people could walk to to overlook the city. We went there at dawn and didn't really feel save, so just dont do it. I've heard that it should become a touristy place, someday. Enjoy (not)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love it. Historical place. It has own In the city, there are historical buildings which have been accepted as cultural heritage (mosques, tombs, churches, monasteries and other religious artifacts). Lots of different kind of soap, natural nuts, local gifts.
