Surrounded by a garden overlooking the Syrian plain, this church was closed during my stay yesterday but looks well maintained.

The exterior and the view are good, but the door is locked. Those interested in the church open the outside door if they want, but they cannot be visited. You can only see the tombs in the garden.

Bu mezarlar Mor Mihael, Mor Mihael’in kız kardeşi ve Mor Mihael’in öğretmeni Aziz Mor Yusuf'a ait mezarlardır. Opposite the church entrance, there is a place with three graves. These tombs belong to Mor Mihael, sister of Mor Mihael, and Saint Mor Yusuf, the teacher of Mor Mihael.

Avlunun kuzeyinde güneyinde ve doğusunda mekanlar konumlanmıştır. Avlunun batı duvarında çeşitli ebatlarda süslü ve yazıtlı mezar nişleri bulunmaktadır. Avlunun güneydoğu köşesinde kilise yapısı yer almaktadır. Kilise kapısının önünde köşe eyvanı bulunmaktadır. Kilise girişinin karşısında içinde üç mezar bulunan bir mekan yer alır. Bu mezarlar Mor Mihael Mor Mihael'in kızkardeşi ve Mor Mihael'in öğretmenine ait mezarlardır. Kilise üç nefli üç apsisli ve üç bölümlü olarak yapılmıştır ve nefler kare ayaklar üzerine oturan sivri kemerli bir yapıya sahiptir. Kilise mekanının batıdaki üçüncü bölümünde bir ara kat yapılmıştır. Bu bölüm çapraz tonoz örtülüdür. Kilisenin kuzey kısmının üzerine kare ayaklar üzerine oturtulmuş çan kulesi yer almaktadır. Avlunun doğu cephesinde üç dilimli sivri kemerli bir kapıdan eskiden kilise olarak kullanılmış iki nefli üç apsisli çapraz tonoz örtülü bir mekana geçilmektedir. Mor Mihael Monastery The recently restored monastery is well-kept. Detailed Description The round arched door facing the north is entered into the garden of the building and the arched door leading to the west crosses into the courtyard of the church. To the north and east of the courtyard are located. In the west wall of the courtyard are grave niches with inscriptions and inscriptions of various sizes. In the southeast corner of the courtyard is a church structure. There is a corner iwan in front of the church door. There is a place with three graves in front of the church entrance. These graves are the tombs of Mor Mihael Mor Mihael's sister and the teacher of Mor Mihael. The church has three apses with three naves and three sections and the naves have a pointed arched structure resting on square feet. An intermediate floor was built in the third section of the church. This section is covered with a cross-vault. On the northern part of the church is a bell tower resting on square feet. On the east side of the courtyard, a door with three sliced pointed arches passes through a vaulted vault with two naves, formerly used as churches.
