Manavgat Bridge

Beautiful never get tired of visiting this place!

The bridge and an area around is one of the most charming places in Manavgat city. Almost all boat trips to Manavgat from marinas around Side (Evernseki for instance) end like 2km-200m from that bridge. Further you can go only by the little boats - their owners offer cruises through the city and to the waterfall (it is a distant view, not a close one you can get by travelling to waterfall by bus, taxi or with any other trip, paying for the ticket to observation point). What I liked about the bridge was total separation of traffic and pedestrian part and really romantic character. The bridge is also beautifully floodlit at night and decorated with colorful flowers. Around the bridge, on both sides of the river next to the bridge you can find ellegant pathways with benches, playgrounds, fountains (don't get as excited as me because of this fact, the water inside is actually hot and won't cool your body anyway xD) and pleasing vegetation. Specific greenness of Manavgat river water complement the image. Next to the pathways there are placed many restaurants, bars and caffes, which offer really nice local dishes (including tradiionaln turkish kebap in all possible versions), drinks and desserts in differentiated prices. I strongly reccommend staying there in the evening, when in some places you can see chamber perfomances of local artists, as well as those street ones. Remember that Manavgat is not only a tourism destination - there are loads of locals spending their free time there (the later, the more). :)

A nice place to chill some time. Bikes to rent near the bridge. There is also a little mosk after the bridge for the muslims tourists who'd like to pray.

The view is beautiful! Also at night part of the bridge lights up in all different colours which looked magical! Me and my mum were very impressed, and I imagine young kids would enjoy it too! For a bridge, it is very exciting:')

A part of the Manavgat centre, a beautiful river flows, colour is deep blue/green to the eye. Cafes are availabe underneath the bridge to sit and enjoy the views River cruises are also available for 20TL 50 MINS, very pleasant

Beautiful! Amazing blue water. Lots of traditional boats playing music. Nice little bars and restaurants along the canal. Very good shops.
