★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöner und bunter Markt. Von der Peperoni bis zum frischen Fisch. Bezahlen kann man hier in Euro oder türkische Lira. Wobei ich die Lira bevorzuge. Hingehen, anschauen, kaufen und begeistert sein. Sie werden es nicht bereuen. Daher 5 Sternchen.
Very nice and colorful market. From hot peppers to fresh fish. You can pay here in euros or turkish lira. Where I prefer the lira. Go, see, buy and be thrilled. You will not regret it. Therefore 5 asterisks.

Bazar, aber Manavgat ist eine tolle Stadt mit vielen tollen Gassen, wo man so gut wie keine Touristen antrifft und so klasse Schnäppchen machen kann Auch laden viele Plätze entlang des Manavgats zum Verweilen bzw. picknicken ein. Überall stehen Tische und Bänke, wo man innehalten kann.
We weren't at the farmer's market or bazaar, but Manavgat is a great city with many great alleys, where you hardly meet any tourists and where you can get great bargains. Many places along the Manavgat also invite you to linger or have a picnic. There are tables and benches everywhere where you can pause.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viele Stände und Möglichkeiten um so richtig zu shoppen. Wer hier nichts findet, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen. ;-)
Es ist an heißen Tagen zwar etwas stickig unter den Zelten, aber das war uns bewusst. Dafür kann man an jeder Ecke Getränke und auch etwas zu Essen kaufen.
Weniger schön sind die an manchen Ecken recht penetranten Händler, die einen förmlich reinziehen wollen.
Werden 2020 aber wieder herkommen, das ist es uns wert!
Many stalls and opportunities to shop really. If you do not find anything here, you can not help it anymore. ;-)
It is a bit stuffy under the tents on hot days, but we were aware of that. But you can buy drinks and something to eat on every corner.
Less beautiful are the on some corners quite obtrusive traders who want to literally pull one.
But coming back in 2020, that's worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dieser Wochenmarkt (Kleidung, Obst, Gemüse) ist Montags und Donnerstags geöffnet. ( Taxifahrer wollten uns zu einem anderen Markt fahren, weil dieser angeblich nicht mehr existiert) Wir sind dann aber doch mit dem Bus gefahren. Der Markt kann zu Fuß von der Busstation ( Zentralplatz ) Manavgat in 15-20 Minuten erreicht werden. Vom Busparkplatz aus (links) der Hauptstraße Richtung Zentrum folgen ( immer gerade aus) links zwischen den Häusern befindet sich der Eingang ( schlecht sichtbar, letztes Bild) Es muss gehandelt werden! Tipp: nicht gleich am Anfang kaufen, die Preise sind in der Mitte des Marktes viel günstiger.
This weekly market (clothes, fruit, vegetables) is open on Mondays and Thursdays. (Taxi drivers wanted to drive us to another market because it supposedly no longer exists) But we did take the bus. The market can be reached on foot from Manavgat bus station (central square) in 15-20 minutes. From the bus parking lot (left) follow the main road towards the center (always straight ahead) to the left between the houses is the entrance (difficult to see, last picture). Action must be taken! Tip: do not buy right at the beginning, the prices are much cheaper in the middle of the market.
