When we arrived in July 2020, the door of the church was closed. But from above you can enjoy the mansion of the Valley. It is the kind of view that the painters could not find. It is a pleasure to watch the sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fazla bilinen bir yer değil. Mustafapaşa, çevredeki diğer yerlere göre çok turistik değil. Ama bu küçük köyde inanılmaz yerler var. Bu açık hava müzesinde görebileceğiniz kilise sayısı bir hayli fazla. Etraflıca gezin derim. Açık Hava Müzesi, Aziz Nikola Manastırı'ndan sonra başlıyor. Çok ama çok etkileyici bir yer. Büyük ihtimalle burada sadece siz olacaksınız. O kadar sakin ve izole bir yer.
It's not a well-known place. Mustafapaşa is not very touristy compared to other places in the surrounding area. But there are incredible places in this small village. There are a lot of churches you can see in this open-air museum. I'd say a trip around. The Open Air Museum starts after St. Nicholas Monastery. Very, very impressive place. You're probably just gonna be here. It is so quiet and isolated place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An incredibly beautiful monastery on the outskirts of a lovely sleep little village. Walked there through the valley and arrived to have the whole place to ourselves. Amazing! Lots of crawling up ladders and exploring hidden cave rooms. We'd been to Goreme Open Air museum the day before - this was so much more impressive! A definite recommend!
