★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great neighborhood cucina, wish there was a half star to give. Had lasagne, pasta with Gorgonzola and pancetta, Mediterranean salad, brucetta, onion soup, creme brulee and Affogato. The pasta is excellent, the onion soup was not what I was expecting but delicious none the less, and the Mediterranean salad was fresh. High points: fantastic outdoor patio, attentive service, fresh pasta (the Gorgonzola with Pancetta was fantastic!), great wine selection. Things holding it back from being fantastic: creme brulee was not fresh and way to thick (like eating cooked eggs), bolognese sauce in lasagne was off a bit (maybe just needed more sauce, common issue with lasagne). All in all, great meal. Will be back to try more of the extensive menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited makkarna for lunch on a week day, it was not crowded at all. The food was excellent, i really enjoyed it and made me feel full. Desserts are also perfect. However, i did not really like the different tastes of creme brule. It will be much better to serve the original taste instead of infusing different aromas. The pricing is ok when you think about the quality food you at. A main course will cost at around 35-40 tl approx. Definitely visit and have some good Italian, Int'l food here. Will be visiting soon.
