★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to spend a nice, and quiet day, then Love Lake is the place to go. The gardens surrounding it would embrace you to a realm of joy, the air is full of refreshing scents of flowers and trees, the sky is pure and looking at it gives you the sensation that the world is still a good place, and humanity isn't so doomed. Once you walk by the lake, you'll see people walking, horses, and dogs. The water is so crisp and clear, you would see the jellyfish resting calmly. Walk few more miles and big ships will start to appear.
Personally, I bring tea and my favorite book, and sit on the benches facing the lake; A thing I do quite often when I visit Samsun, and I miss whenever I leave.
The only thing that would make this place even more charming, is bringing a loved one. It's indeed a wonderful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to have a breathe of fresh air and to escape the choas of the city centre within walking distance. It is a place we go to practise social distancing in a relaxing atmosphere with the family. It is a pity that the lake isn't as clean as it used to be.
