Lil'a Restaurant by Museum Hotel - Göreme Cd. No.2

We read some bad reviews but we were so glad our experience was anything but. This was our last meal in Turkey and it was lovely - the restaurant is set in the luxurious Museum Hotel which really pays attention to the little details. More importantly, the food is good. The hummus with pastrami was served warm and it was amazing. We also had shrimps in a great bisque. Mains were good but not mind-blowing, though I was partial to the duck with lavender honey and beetroot paste. We also had the poached pear dessert (a must have) and the baklava (not bad!). Service was attentive and went the extra mile - our server shot so many different angles for a photo we asked him to take! The views from the restaurant are, of course, also stunning. Definitely one of the pricier places in Cappadocia but we didn't mind at all as the prices were comparable to a restaurant meal back home.

Had a private dinner here for our engagement celebration and the experience was amazing! You get a whole room to yourself and the table is decorated with rose petals! My fiance also booked a violinist for the dinner. The course included bread, salad, potato medallions, chickpea hummus orzo, the main course (we got the lamb shanks and beef tenderloin), and dessert (baked pear on pismanlye which is turkey candy floss). The lamb shanks, hummus, and pear were the best dishes ? We also ordered a Turkey blended red wine that the waiter recommended which we ended up finishing because it was so good. The service is amazing which played a huge part in making the whole experience a night to remember!

Amazing setting, premium service. Very well designed ambiance. The entrance is literally a museum, with artifacts found in the area on display. Walls are decorated with historical dresses from the region. Poolside is beautiful, bond-fire, jazz on the background. Food is ok, stuffed onions were great. I’d stay away from meat dishes around the region; usually served overcooked. For wine, Their special blends are very good; you cannot go wrong. Don’t expect a restaurant at this level to be cheap though…

Excellent Dining with a lovely view of the valley. The food and service were excellent with a very good wine list. We enjoyed two hours of a quiet upscale dinner in the off season. Will return.

Lil’a is an absolutely amazing experience. The service is second to none. This is the most highly recommended restaurant in Cappadocia for a wine tasting! It is an incredible value, served with a super delicious cheese board. It is definitely one of the most expensive restaurants in Cappadocia, but completely worth it in our opinion. YOU MUST TRY THE CHOCOLATE SUFFLE!! ?

The greatest restaurant in the area with the most amazing staff! They are very knowledgeable and helpful and know what each one needs. The view there is so relaxing too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic meal, great decor and excellent service - definitely recommend the shared mezze platter, the guvec, the shrimp and the cheese plate.

The staff is very approachable, and nice. We messed up the reservation, but still were able to get a table. The place itself is quite nice. The food is also tasty. I would recommend humus and manti. Though if you pay not in local currency, their exchange rate might bite
