The most noteworthy ruins of Letoon are certainly three temples here. In the western part of these, the temple belonging to Leto, which is at the forefront, BC. It was built towards the end of the IV - V century at the initiative of King Arbinas. The temple, whose ruins are seen today, was built over the temple we mentioned in BC. It was built around 150 BC in Ionic order, with 6x11 columns.

The largest temple dedicated to Leto, mother of Artemis and Apollo, is the Leto Temple located in the west and built in the Peripteros style. An inscription in tree languages( Greek,Aramaic and Lycian) was found around this temple, which is thought to belong to the 4th century BC, and us still exhibited in the Fethiye Museum. The Apollo Temple, built in the Doric style to the east, is less preserved than the Leto Temple. The Temple of Artemis in the middle of both temples is the smallest. There is fountain( water source) in the southwest of these tree temples and a church in the east. Please thank you for having these works.
