You are greeted by the owners and staff who speak English and given the menu in English (which is more of an exception in the area and is a problem if you don't speak Turkish). 5 stars for the location, service and food/drinks. Honestly one of the best restaurants on the riverfront. If you ask the staff for a special order they are happy to assist. First day we went we wanted grilled fish wish fresh garlic ginger and chilli, we received a full sea bass marinated in garlic ginger and chilli and it was like food at home - delicious, props to the chef. We wanted to come back for lunch the next day for a lamb cutlet, something off menu. They went out of their way to source this for us and cooked it perfectly - again props to the staff and chef. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to all, please speak to the staff for special requests before going elsewhere, the staff are super attentive. As a bonus the view is amazing :)

Views are great, but absolutely bland and overpriced food! Nothing I will remember apart from the price and that the calamari and prawns where frozen! (I am Spanish I know!) Two starts because the view only!

I truly enjoyed the hospitality and food at Le Cafe. The pizza was the best we had so far! We left happy and full! Can’t wait to visit again.

Some of the shrimps were smelling bad. Octopus was not grilled as we asked but brought in a casserole pot and was hard as leather. When I explained our food experience to the kind lady who said she was running this restaurant with her husband, she merely listened and silently thanked me but she was obviously not very happy with my comments. She left and never came back for making an explanation, apology or excuse. Upon this, we left the restaurant without ordering the main dish and continued somewhere else. I do not recommend this place. We understand not everything can be perfect all the time and we do not bring up honest shortcomings that happen once in a while but in this place that day almost everything was a fiasco followed by what I like to describe as an institutional indifference. Offering food to customers that needed to be thrown away and then not even coming up with an apology when brought up by the customers right on the spot is, in my opinion, simply disrespectful to say the least. UPDATE: yes it was exactly this restaurant. We ate in July 2021. My comment was not visible in Google until now so I updated iand resent it.
