Otel eski yenilenmeye ihtiyaç var. Hizmet güzel. Konum mükemmel. Bölgeye göre fiyat performans iyi. Yenilenirse tekrar gidebilirim.
The hotel is old need refurbishment. Service is nice. Location is perfect. Price performance is good for the region. I might go again if it's renewed.

First of all, I would like to thank the staff at the beach, they were very interested, relevant and polite. We did not stay in a hotel, we took advantage of the sun loungers. They did their best as I am vegan. The sea was different, very clean.

I could not understand the negative comments, it is very very clean. This is very important. Being by the sea is also an advantage. We stayed for 1 night, but we will definitely come again.

This raving review is way overdue. Before I tell everyone about our amazing stay here in Golturkbucu, I have to give a bit of background. My husband and I live in the US and have been dying to go to Turkey for quite some time and we weren't going to let anything stop us, not even our 11 month old son so we took his with. We decided to take a two week trip to Turkey, with the first few days being in Istanbul, then to Cappadocia, and from there, we would end up somewhere on the Aegean Sea. Yes, no hotels booked and no real plans made for a very interesting trip, but I wouldn't have done it differently. After about a week of travel, we flew into the Bodrum airport (flying in Turkey is so cheap, there is no point to drive). We weren't sure which town we wanted to stay in so we asked a couple of locals at the airport and they pointed us to Golturkbucu. We immediately found vacancy at Lavinya Otel and it was one of the only hotels that we contacted that could speak English so we decided to book with them. Alhamdulillah! When we arrived, the manager, Mehmet, met us with smiles and helped with our luggage. He explained that our room was still being cleaned as we only booked thirty minutes prior to our arrival. We left our bags near the desk and decided to have lunch in their little seaside cafe. The view was stunning and the food was delicious and well priced. We split a few dishes (the cheeseburger, chicken fajitas, mezes, and one of the local fish dishes). After lunch, we were shown to our room. It was clean and they even provided a crib for our son. We changed and made our way out to the beach. Their beach is beautiful and the attendants who work there were amazing! They are all young men who are working their way through college and they were so friendly. They provided us with towels, served us drinks, and entertained our little guy. I have to say that the Turkish people are so great with children and Lavinya Otel was especially accommodating. The raving doesn't end here. The second evening of our stay, we went downtown for dinner and shopping. Upon arriving, we put our son down for bed and the owner and his wife invited us to the beach for mezes and raki (Turkish liquor). They were both so wonderful and we exchanged many stories and laughs. They asked what our plans were for the rest of the week and we told them that we planned to head to Cesme the next day, but weren't quite sure where exactly to stay. The owner told me that I should come to the front desk the next morning and that he would help arrange my travel and get me in touch with a friend of his in Cesme to make a recommendation for a hotel. The next morning we sat down for our complimentary breakfast, which is amazing. They have a lovely assortment of cheeses, olives, honey, bread, tea, vegetable, and gozleme. After breakfast, the owner spent about an hour with us helping to book a rental car and got me in touch with his friend to book a room at a beautiful resort in Cesme. I couldn't believe the hospitality. When we left, they called us a shuttle to the airport to pick up our car. It was quite sad. In those two short days we had gotten so close to the staff so we took a picture, exchanged hugs, and were on our way to Cesme. When we arrived at Cesme, the resort we were staying at was gorgeous and Cesme is a beautiful city for the rich and famous. However, when my husband and I look back at that trip, we always regret not staying longer at Lavinya Otel. Staying there provided more of the authentic Turkish experience. The people were warm, the food was great, and the views were paramount. We've already started talking about our next trip to Turkey and cannot wait to see our friends again! Teşekkür ederim to all of our friends at Lavinya Otel!

We had the “standard room with sea view” for 4 nights. The hotel has some nice features which we enjoyed, but also quite some nuances, so in the end we could not conclude if we would stay here again or recommend to others. Good features: there is a real beach, with clean water, sectioning to keep boats out of the swimming area and lovely views. You have the beach right in front of you and there is a nice deck with good sun beds (towels etc included) and attentive waiters working very hard. The deck is one of the nicest among the other beach front hotels and overall we felt this was the best hotel in Göltürbüku. We appreciated the boutique hotel feel and preferred staying at a relaxed small place, over a mass tourism hotel. Our room was basic and a bit dated, but had all the facilities we needed, a good bed and was very clean. Ahead of our arrival, the owners were also responsive and helped arrange an airport transfer, which we appreciated. There’s not much of a town in Göltürbüku, but Türbüku is a 5min taxi away and we enjoyed walking along the promenade there, where you can find plenty of restaurants, small shops and some bars. Bad features: the noise...they have a sound system on the deck playing loud thumpy music from morning until late at night. One day they started at 9am, which woke us up when we wanted a lie in during your holiday. In fairness, most places along the coast here play the music too loud, so I would not single out Lavinya. There was also a window without a curtain in our room, so we had light coming in from 6am, which we had to solve ourselves by putting a towel. The breakfast was substandard by the usually high quality I’ve experienced in Turkey. The photos they put on instagram have nothing to do with the reality. Coffee and OJ cost extra, and we even overheard from another table that milk for kids gets charged on top. We also had lunch and dinner, in both cases not so impressive and the prices are in line with the Bodrum average. Some of the guests were a bit rude to the staff, which we found disturbing. The wifi was patchy and ranged from working slowly to inexistent.
