Kayseri'de ki diğer klasik kemer yapılı çeşmelerden farklı bir çeşme. Geriden bakıldığında küçük bir kümbet görünümünde olan yapıya yaklaştıkça çeşme olduğunu anlıyorsunuz. Eski Kayseri evleri yıkılmadan önce sokaktan geçenlerin sıkça kullandığı çeşme bu gün bakımsız ce bir kenarda kalmış şekilde durmaktadır
It is a fountain different from the other classical arch fountains in Kayseri. When you look from behind, you realize that there is a fountain as you approach the building that looks like a small cupola. The fountain used by the passers-by before the old Kayseri houses collapses, these days remain neglected.

Lala Paşa Camisi’nin yanındaki kümbetten daha sonra yapıldığı düşünülmektedir. Mimari özellikleriyle 12. yüzyılın son çeyreğine ya da 13. yüzyılın ilk çeyreğine tarihlenebilmektedir. Dikdörtgen planlı caminin minaresi sonradan eklenmiştir. Kayıtlarda, caminin 1903 tarihinde Evkaf İdaresi tarafından onarıldığı, bitişiğinde bir sıbyan mektebi ile çeşme olduğundan bahsedilmektedir. Bu yapılardan sadece çeşme günümüze gelebilmiştir. Tarih kitabesi olmayan minberdeki yazılar Kuran’ı Kerim’den alınmış ayetleri ihtiva etmektedir. Yazım şekli ve yan satıhlardaki geçmelerle Hunat Camisi’nin minberi arasında benzerlik kurulmakta ve minberin 13. yüzyıla ait olduğu düşünülmektedir. Camiye giriş, batı ve kuzey cephelerde bulunan iki kapı açıklığı ile sağlanmaktadır. Caminin manevi ihtişamına yıldız yetmez fakat çeşmenin çevresine dair bakımın sıfır olması bu ihtişamı söndürüyor. Çeşmenin çok merkezi bir konumda olmasına karşın özenli bir muameleyi hakketiğini düşünüyorum. Her şeye rağmen gezilip görülmesi gerken bir nokta
Stars are not enough for the spiritual splendor of the mosque, but the zero care around the fountain extinguishes this splendor. Although the fountain is in a very central location, I think it deserves careful treatment. Regardless, it's a must see spot.
