We had our last lunch at Lagarto based on the positive reviews we've read. The place is charming and it's located on the rooftop of Dere suites hotel. The views over Ürgüp are nice and the atmosphere is romantic & relaxing. The food is tasty, the service is great & the prices are reasonable.

What an amazing dining experience! As soon as my husband and I entered the restaurant we were greeted by the friendly and professional host, Sedat bey. Both items he recommended, the lamb shank and rack of ribs were so delicious! We were excited to come back the following night to try the creamy pasta and another recommendation of Sedat bey, the testi kebabı, again both dishes were incredible - eline sağlık to the chef! We had such a great time at Lagarto restaurant, the entire staff do a supurb job and we are sad that we're leaving after 2 days! Çok teşekkür ederiz her şey için we hope to back in the future :)

Lovely, intimate setting. Great food and great service. Be sure to have the pear for dessert.

Good food and place, but I asked them twice before coming to prepare a special table for our couple anniversary and even though they always said yes, nothing was there.

Delicious, definitely not overpriced and good sized portions. The waiters were lovely and even arranged a taxi for us that took us back to our hotel. Amazing experience with a nice view. 10/10 would recommend

????Definitely you should taste “ testi kebap “ here! Also the view is unbelievable. Even we werenot here in the season, so the weather was rainy and a bit cold. Eventhough inside is super, and Mr. Ercan is so kind and helpfull. ❣️❣️❣️ You will love this place. I recommend for sure. Dont miss this place if you are lucky to come to Ürgüp! ✨ Annd how i can skip this, the gift/ treat ( which means IKRAM in Turkish ). Ercan bey offered us Baklava and tea for free. And he also give the ladies a souvenir! ( you can see on the table at the pics, writing Cappadocia chimney rock shaped :) ? P.c. There is an hotel ? down, which own this restaurant called “Dere Suites Cappadocia”. I think it will be an unforgettable experience to stay here and enjoy the view... for romantic couples ??‍❤️‍?‍??‍❤️‍?‍?

Best meal (dinner) we had in Cappadocia! The manager created a mezze platter and a meat platter for us so we could try a selection of starters. He also recommended a lovely bottle of Turkish red wine (delicious!). The candlelit cave setting is beautiful and romantic and there is terrace seating for warmer months. All very reasonably priced. 10/10!
