L'ancora Hotel

You will enjoy your stay here if you don't expect too much; yes, this hotel is cheap, and it is what you pay for. The hotel is located just near the Mediterranean sea and ideal for beach vacations on a tight budget in Turkey! The sea was absolutely amazing. It was ideal for swimming and snorkeling because the sea was not a heavy sea at all (you cannot surf in this sea) and it was crystal clear. The food was delicious. It didn't have many options; but, that was fine - this is not a five-star hotel. Our room weren't excellent (old, small and old-fashioned decoration) but it was clean. Maybe good for the price if you want to be near the sea but don't care about anything else. The pool was not convenient because it was in the middle of the dining hall, and it did not get enough sunlight to keep you warm. The beach is of gravels and is very crowded! The good part was, the hotel is really close to lively Kemer downtown which cancels one negative aspect of the hotel: there was not much of an entertainment in the hotel. The hotel has a dedicated area on the beach, and you can use its sunbeds and umbrella. You should get there early to have your spot ready on the beach. Transportation was very easy to and from the hotel. We landed in Antalya Airport and used a transit between the hotel and the airport. Considering other beach vacation places in Antalya, Kemer is one of the closest locations you can pick to Antalya Airport.

Excellent location, very central and pretty with lots of bars and beaches around. The sea is always within 1-minute walk. Even though the hotel territory is not too big, it’s nice and tidy, with cool spots like swings and comfy sofas. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff, including managers, reception, security and chefs. A decent variety of food. There’s WiFi for extra charge across the whole territory and beach, but it’s not always working in the room. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

It is beautiful hotel with nice dish, clean beach and friendly people working here, but... you can’t enjoy it and you literally can’t sleep here because of horrible loud Russian music till 00.00 almost every evening. No chance you can find any quiet room. It feels as if you are at the worst party in your life that you can’t leave.

Everything is perfect. Location, beach, food, staff. I especially liked the spa. The massages were great, my back doesn't hurt anymore, masseur Bilal is great and I recommend him to everyone.

Good location, friendly staff. Inadequately loud music does not allow to sleep every night until 23:00-0:00. We were changing our room every night three times in a row, trying to get away from it, but even in the farthest room the music is still distracting. On TV all channels are either Turkish or Russian, majority of the music is also Russian. Some rooms are pretty old - one of those we lived in had broken toilet (water did not stop draining) and air conditioner (water was dripping out of it on the floor every time it turns off). It wasn't the cheapest room. I wouldn't give this hotel 4 stars.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel. Electricity was lost time to time. Air conditioner was unable to work when there was about 40C degrees outside. This is unacceptable in 21'th century. Only this moment could lead to 1-star rating. But, it should be said that the hotel has very good beach area, quite cosy and very clean (that's) why 3 star is a fair value.

Wasn’t really enjoying it, staff doesn’t speak English, fridge in room didn’t work, bar by the sea not included, one type of beer in all bars, changed my hotel after 2 nights. Sorry, there is better places out there for same money. Central pool however looked nice

We love this place since 2007, when it was just "Dragos". We don't count already how many times we were here. It is good to see how every year they try to improve things. This year (2021) the variety of food was huge, better than before. Big thanks to a chef and kitchen staff, everything was very delicious! All rooms are renovated and look pretty. The only problems were: not working conditioners, fridge, and no bed light/lamp. Would be nice to fix it after the season will end (especially to change conditioners. In some rooms they are old, and not working). Our rooms were changed, and some other things were fixed, so we had a pleasant stay ? This hotel always had the best beach (for those, who like clean feet, and not bringing all the sand to their room). Many things improved, and I hope it will stay like that in the future too. And please, keep the chef! ? Waiting for a new season already!
