Old Kütahya houses are important documents of our architectural history. They seem to be alone. I wish they could be restored soon.

Kütahya houses, which are examples of 19th century civil architecture and bear the wooden architectural characteristics of Anatolia, still live in accordance with their original. It carries the best examples of the old mansion culture to this day with its unique two and three-storey architectures, wooden buttresses, window layout and wide eaves. The ground floors are designed as stony floors for the kitchen, cellar, warehouse and agricultural equipment, and the living, sleeping, eating, drinking and washing rooms are built on the upper floors. The entrance doors are large enough to allow horses to pass. The windows are few in number and small in size. In Kütahya houses, "going out" is the most important element of the architectural style. Even if the streets are very narrow, the overhangs have been made as if they were worth each other. The characteristic Kütahya house is generally large. In outer colors, the surface is painted in white, dirty yellow, indigo blue or ocher color, and is stretched (earth) plastered. It is possible to see these houses lined up along the streets of Germiyan and Ahierbasan Streets.

Nice if we don't count the lamps hanging on the top of the street and the huge trash cans.

A very affordable city is livable. The houses are very but very beautiful from the castle in ma zara at sunset especially hele. Everybody gets their tea grill and goes to the castle. The business is also there against the scenery. We recommend you like
