Was 08/28/2018 Rest in Turkey on the eighth day turned into a nightmare, I went blind in my right eye, retinal tear and detachment, complete loss of vision in 1 eye. Insurance coverage brought me to this hospital. I will not tell the whole story for a long time, in fact: in the hospital there are two guys in the emergency department, one works a day, I don’t remember the name, the second one at night, if I’m not mistaken, is called Orguzar, who speaks Russian. They supervised all my treatment, for which I will be grateful to them all my life. They treated me like a family, guys, thank you very much !!! About hospitals: single wards, even I would say rooms with a separate toilet and shower, with a TV, with air conditioning, with meals there is a city telephone in the ward. Doctors are professionals in their field. The hospital does not focus on their capabilities, if they cannot do something themselves, they are taken to other clinics and after the procedure or some other operations are brought back to the hospital as it was in my case, they do not perform eye surgery, but they took it and accompanied the whole process to another clinic in another city specializing in eye surgery. Next to me all the time there was an accompanying representative and a driver in one person from this hospital, I all the time felt myself under the supervision and care. An hour after the operation, the driver took me back to the hospital and took me to my room, meanwhile Orguzar prepared all the necessary medications that I had to take at home. Since my time was running out, there was a plane that evening back to my homeland, they prepared all the necessary medicine and documents for me, Even those that confirmed my operation so that there were no questions at customs when leaving Turkey, since I had a large eye patch. Not knowing English I was in this hospital for 2 days before the operation while the hospital was seeking confirmation from my insurance for the payment of the operation in the ophthalmological clinic. I still have a great desire to return there, but only to express my deep gratitude to the staff of the clinic and, in a separate order, thank those two Russian-speaking guys from the reception for the care they took. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING !!!!
